Great day fishing in wisconsin on Fox Lake in oct. We started out the day drifting small jigs and split shot rigs with minnows for live bait. The crappies were biting good as well as some bluegills and even some perch. We also picked up a couple of smaller walleyes as well. My best fishing partner Henry got a 29 1/2 inch northern as well today. Weended up with 24 crappies, 2 gills and a perch for the frying pan for a nice meal. Then Marcia set the hook on a dandy fish and she was off to fighting a huge walleye on 6 pound test fishing line. We got the fish in the boat and it measured 27 inches exactly. It turned out to be her biggest trophy walleye in your life time. Great job Marcia. Henry with the nortern is 86 years old.
