We have fishing for panfish in the canal I live on and have been doing pretty well on the bluegills and getting some perch also. Lot of the gills are 8 to 9 inches with some at about 10 inches and the biggest perch was 11 inches. The fishing tip for fishing is using ice fishing jigs tipped with a small peice of night crawler.
